Although not all the people described here are officially saints and blessed, they are shown to be true saints by their living testimony of mercy and their profession of faith. This work is entitled The Saints in Mercy, to indicate that these people did not limit themselves to practicing works of mercy, but rather first experienced God’s mercy and then felt the urgency to express such beauty in their lives.
